Carriage Town Ministries is a clean, safe, encouraging place to land for men, women and children who are desperate for shelter, food, comfort and hope. Everyone is God’s special project and worthy of value.

Guests are cared for in a safe, supportive environment where they can find refuge and rest. Once their basic and immediate needs are addressed, case managers work one-on-one to identify their next steps, including healthcare, housing and employment options.

  • Meals are a time for guests to be nourished and recharged. The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily to men, women, and children who are currently living at Carriage Town Ministries.

    Also, full-course, nutritional dinners are served in our dining room to anyone, every evening at 5:30pm. There are no requirements to receive a meal.

  • Each night men, women, and children find a warm bed and safety from the streets at Carriage Town Ministries. Hot showers, laundry facilities, and personal hygiene items are available to all residents. We can accommodate up to 145 men, women, and children each night.

  • We provide free clothing to the men, women and children who are residents of Carriage Town Ministries. Find out how you can donate needed items.

  • Our residents are privileged to receive spiritual nourishment daily in the morning and evening through devotions and chapel services.  We offer Bible studies for men and women.  Residents are encouraged to work on their spiritual growth during their time here.

  • Residents work in collaboration with a mentor to identify their housing and other desired goals. Using the tenets of a Housing-First approach, plans are drafted that are individualized, person-centered and are based on their strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.

  • We offer residents of all ages opportunities to learn and grow while they live at Carriage Town Ministries. Whether through the use of our Learning Center, day programing, or more formal classes, children and adults have the opportunity for learning and new experiences.

  • Carriage Town Ministries Health Screening Clinic provides free access to Medical, Dental, Optometry and Mental Health Services for men, women and children living at Carriage Town Ministries.

    We are greatly in need of additional medical professionals. Learn more about the clinic services and needs.

  • The Transitional Employment Program seeks to break the cycle of homelessness by offering residents temporary employment opportunities which includes on-the-job training and skills development. The goal is to prepare them to obtain a dependable income stream through successful, sustained employment.
