“To be honest, Carriage Town Ministries saved my life. Before then, I was homeless, so if it wasn’t for this place I’d probably be dead right now. I am working here now, though it’s more than just the money. I was a transitional employee and now I work here as a full-time employee. The staff here motivates and encourages me. Eventually, I would like to move up to other jobs at Carriage Town. Right now I am living in the Bassett House [Transitional living house] and looking for permanent housing. Because of being at Carriage Town, I read the Bible and am closer to God now.”
