Carriage Town Ministries Health Screening & Education Clinic

Carriage Town opened the free Health Screening Clinic across from the main building on Garland Street. The health clinic provides access to medical, dental, and optometry services at “street level” for Carriage Town residents, non-homeless but extremely poor men, women, and children, and walk-up access for those living on the streets. The clinic is open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday. We have a licensed PA on staff, Dennis Wallace, as coordinator of the clinic, who is able to see  walk-in patients or  patients by appointment.

The Carriage Town Ministries Health Screening Clinic is operated by volunteer medical professionals. Volunteer Dr. Jack Stoker leads our medical screening ministry and sees patients on Wednesday mornings.  Dr. Angela Iceberg provide's free optical exams and eye health screenings for cataracts and glaucoma and provide free prescription eye wear as needed.
